Dr. Bowdre is a staff emergency and critical care doctor at California Veterinary Specialists.  He earned his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in 2003 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Colorado State as well.   He joined CVS in 2007 after completing an internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at Animal Urgent Care and Specialty Group in Escondido, California.

Dr. Bowdre’s special interest include trauma, shock, emergency surgery and caring for bird and exotic animal species.  In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing at the beach and motorcycles.
