Dr. Polansky has a special interest in immune mediated and gastrointestinal diseases. Dr. Polansky values the human-animal bond and is passionate about preserving and strengthening that bond through medical intervention. He strives to be a great communicator to help educate 
owners about their pet’s disease process and work with each primary care veterinarian to make informed, collaborative decisions regarding treatment.

Originally from Boston, Dr. Polanksy earned his degree in veterinary medicine from Tufts University. He fell in love with the internal medicine specialty during his internship at Louisiana State University school of veterinary medicine in 2011. Dr. Polansky completed his internal medicine 
residency at MedVet in Columbus Ohio.  He has passed his ACVIM credentialing board exams, and is awaiting publication to complete his Diplomate status.

Dr. Polansky loves the outdoors including running and cycling. He is an avid New England Patriots fan. He is extremely excited to be a part of the CVS Carlsbad team and can’t wait to practice in the sunny beautiful weather of southern California.
