Dr. Tedder is a staff emergency and critical care doctor at California Veterinary Specialists. Prior to joining California Veterinary Specialists in 2007, Dr. Tedder was an emergency and critical care doctor at Animal Urgent Care and Specialty Group in Escondido, California where she also completed a rotating internship in emergency medicine, surgery, and internal medicine. Dr. Tedder’s clinical interests include trauma, pain management, and emergency surgery. 

Dr. Tedder earned her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed her clinical year at the University of Minnesota in 2004. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Arkansas. Dr. Tedder also studied at Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in the Epidemiology and Community Health Department with an emphasis on Cat Scratch Disease prior to going to veterinary school.

In her free time, Dr. Tedder enjoys water sports, snowboarding, camping, reading, going to the theater and concerts, along with spending time with friends and family.
