Murrieta, CA, August 19, 2013 – California Veterinary Specialists in Murrieta will now be home to the only CT unit available for small animals within Riverside County. CVS in Murrieta moved into their facility less than a mile away from their old location and now has double the space and houses a Computed Tomography, also known as a CT or CAT scan unit, available immediately for referral use by local veterinarians, as well as in-house diagnosis for emergency and critical care patients.
Computed Tomography (CT) uses a combination of x-rays and computerized reconstruction to produce images of the body in greater detail than standard x-rays. California Veterinary Specialists, the only specialty hospital in Riverside County, has worked seamlessly with local veterinary offices for over 10 years offering advanced screenings and treatments to patients whom they refer.
California Veterinary Specialists is a 24 hour emergency and specialty hospital with three locations in Southern California. We work closely with our referring veterinary offices to provide the highest level of care by using state-of-the-art equipment with the input of multiple board-certified specialists to provide the best possible diagnosis and care for our patients.
California Veterinary Specialists will be hosting an open house for clients wishing to tour our new facility on September 16, 2013, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
